Are you ready to tap into

your unique magic?

2019 Will Be YOUR Year

It's decided, my friend that 2019 will be your year. Your year for #allthethings you want in your life and in love. I 100% believe that you can have it all, and you don't have to wait any longer for it all to come together.

While I completely believe New Year's Resolutions have their place, and I believe the beginning of the new year is a time to make your goals for the next 12 months, I also believe that there is beauty in the small changes. There's beauty in the taking care of yourself and beauty in the little everyday things that makes your life run smoothly.

As we transition into 2019, I thought it would be great to share with you a few of my very favorite things that I am using on the daily as I embark on the new year.

These are the things that keep me grounded, cozy, and ready to live the life I want to live (not the one that happened upon me). For me, it's the small daily acts that keep me productive, grounded and ready to receive and give.

{Just so you know, I may receive a small amount of money if you purchase any of these things through the available link. Please see more Terms & Conditions below for any questions you have. Everything (with the exception of the cozy blanket and the blue journal below~ I have slightly different ones) I actually own and use daily. }

I find myself loving to rise before everyone else in the early mornings. I love the quiet time to work and journal. You'll find me in this pink robe and these slippers (my slippers are bright pink, and I wear them all day long) with a cozy faux fur over my lap and sipping Matcha tea (linked below).

My house is freezing in the morning during the winter months and wrapping up with these things makes it easier to actually get out of bed!

I'm a big journal and self reflection junkie. I love a good blank journal to write my thoughts, plans and things I want to express gratitude to. For a blank journal, I am SUPER picky!! It has to be pretty, have a bookmark to keep my page and be easy to write in.

And, I also love journals with prompts in them. To be honest, I haven't ever found a journal quite like the Practice You one shown above. It is a creative, colorful and allows you to dive into who you are and why being you is so fabulous. I love using it when I am feeling a little lost and looking for some internal guidance. (There's also an accompanying daily card deck if you love those sorts of things... I do!).

And these pens... if you LOVE to write with Sharpie pens but hate that they bleed through the page, you'll love the Le Pen pens. I won't use anything else and purchase them in bulk.

You can find these journals and pens here: Practice You, A Journal, Practice You Card Deck, Colorful Le Pens, Black Le Pens, Minte Blue Journal.

If you've known me for a little bit, you will know that I LOVE bath time. If I could take multiple baths a day I would. Baths really are my favorite stress relieving ritual.

And these days, I turn out most of the overhead lights, light this pretty and fresh Voluspa candle, drop some epsom salts (I go for about 1/2 cup but be sure to do what feels good to you) and 5 drops high quality lavender essential oil in there and grab a good book. (Sometimes I also write Instagram posts, but shhhhh, don't tell anyone, ok?) Daring Greatly by Brené Brown (non fiction) and The Snow Child by Eowyn Ivey (fiction) have been my absolute favorite books written in the past few years.

You can check out these bath time essentials here: Voluspa Candle, Epsoak Epsom Salts, doTERRA Lavender Essential Oil, Daring Greatly, The Snow Child.

Lately, I've been really focused on finding ways to improve the functioning of my body. I've been including these things into my daily routine and have seen such a different. I feel better, my skin is brighter and more full of life, my hair is shiny and my nails have never been so strong. Plus, I just feel good. (I wrote a whole post about my morning smoothie with collagen in it here: Getting Back On Track with My Morning Smoothie ).

The Vital Proteins Matcha Collagen is great substitute for coffee with about 1/2 the amount of caffeine. I love to make myself a Matcha tea in the mid morning when I start to lag. It froths really nicely with a frother, and you can also create all kinds of fun Matcha lattes with it.

I honestly love any supplements by Nordic Naturals, and this particular Vitamin D is fabulous. And, I have had ongoing problems with a daily vitamin until trying the Metagenics one. It's a bit pricier than the usual ones that you find at the drug store, but my system tolerates this one really well. (Also, I am not a health professional, so be sure to chat with one about these products if you have ongoing health issues. I highly recommend getting your Vitamin D checked if you haven't in while. Vitamin D deficiency is related to all sorts of health problems and mental health issues.)

You can find these fabulous supplements here: Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides, Vital Proteins Matcha Collagen, DNA Matcha Frother (not pictured but this one is $7!), Nordic Naturals Vitamin D and Metagenics Multi Vitamin with Iron.

Anyone here constantly searching for a great way to whiten your teeth? It seems to be an ongoing issue in my household!

While probably the messiest way on the planet to do it, using the charcoal powder is the most natural and effective. I really like this one pictured. You get your toothbrush wet and then dip it into your charcoal (my husband and I have our own personal containers so that it doesn't get full of germs). I've also tried the charcoal toothpaste pictured above too. It doesn't seem to be as effective, but it is way less messy. Either way you go, be sure to get toothbrushes specifically for the charcoal.

I also really love oil pulling for general oral health and will link a coconut oil with peppermint I like to use below (If you haven't oil pulled before, you take a spoonful of coconut oil and swish it around in you mouth for a bit. This helps clean out your mouth and naturally take care of your teeth too).

My dry skin LOVES coconut oil. Loves it. It just soaks it right in. Just after a bath or shower, I put some one and then let it sit for a bit before putting on clothes. It's natural, easy and so hydrating.

And lastly, I don't know about you, but I get these little hairs on the side of my face and forehead that seem like fluff or peach fuzz. Someone I follow on Instagram showed these little eyebrow shaper tools for the peach fuzz issue and they are amazing! The tools dull super quickly, and seem to be good for one to two uses, but a package comes with three and they are not incredibly pricey.

You can find these hygiene products here: Active Wow Charcoal Powder, Activated Charcoal Toothpaste, Charcoal Toothbrushes, Skinny Coconut Oil Pulling, Skinny Coconut Body Melt, Schick Eyebrow Shapers (and Peach Hair Defuzzers)

And finally, I have been using this Essential Skin Care line from doTERRA for my face and I absolutely love it. I have used all kinds of products in all kinds of price ranges, and I have fallen in love with this line. My skin is sensitive and dry, which is a not fun combination. And sometimes skin care makes my skin unhappy.

This line hydrates, soothes dry skin, reduces pores, evens skin tone and also clarifies fine lines.

You can purchase any of these products at retail by going to : or if you'd like to get them at a wholesale membership and price, reach out to me at and we can get you set up.

I hope that the start to your new year is amazing. 2019 will be your year. I just know it.

Until next time, be well and do fabulous things.
